What is ChatGPT? Blogging in AI Age

ChatGPT is a Chatbot – a computer program that make use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to replicates a written or spoken human conversation thereby enabling humans to chat with with digital devices as they would do with fellow humans. The conversation ranges from single-query/single-response ones to highly interactive and personalized versions that learn on-the-move. ChatGPT is an example of the latter.

Developed by OpenAI, a leading artificial intelligence research organization, ChatGPT employ sophisticated learning algorithms to generate natural language responses to user input. In so doing chatbot is able to sustain a conversation with users on a wide range of subjects.

ChatGPT has been designed to process and respond to natural language input. It’s therefore a powerful tool to answer questions, provide information, and even perform creative tasks such as sitting and passing for an examination!

If ChatGPT is one of the many Chatbots, why has it caused storm in the blogoshphere? Why is everyone talking about ChatGPT? The answer lies in the position AI is taking in the blogging. Lets look at the role of AI in blogging

Role of Artitifical Intelligence in Content Creation

To create quality content thant ranks, you have to undertake the following tasks;

1. Keyword Research
2. Content Planning and Organization
3. Content Writing
4. Content Update

Before the invention of AI, all the task above were performed by humans. This was followed by tools to assist in particular areas such as keyword research as stand alone while the humans would still do a substantial part of content creation. Tools such as Jaaxy, Semrush, Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs and many more assisted (and still do) mainly in keyword research. This was followed by more sophisticated platforms to assist in content creation such as Jasper and Surferseo that does the bulk of the work with minimal human intervention..

From these 10 topics and 10 keywords, i have a perfect starting point for my article. You can then subject the keywords to other platforms such as Jaaxy to gauge their popularity in increasing the visibility of your content.

ChatGPT can also help to break down mental blocks  by offering new angles or approaches to a topic.

ChatGPT, as an AI language model, can certainly provide assistance in generating new ideas or creative solutions, but it cannot replace the unique perspective and individuality of human creativity.

ChatGPT will obviously help you reduce the cognitive load required for tasks like generating ideas, researching, or editing. This will in turn free up more mental space and time (for example for bloggers) to focus on the creative aspects of their work, such as refining their ideas or exploring new approaches to their topic.

It is important to note that ChatGPT is a machine learning model that generates responses based on what it has learned from large amounts data. Ultimately, it is up to the user blogger to utilize the ideas generated by ChatGPT to further own creativity.
